I called or emailed 12 different contractors to get bids on staining my deck. Only 7 responded, only 5 came out, and only 3 gave bids, one of the 7 did offer sight unseen $500 less than my lowest bid, I didn't even respond to him. Dan and another contractor were right together, 3rd guy was $500 more. In the end I liked Dans product better. I'm a contractor as well and it still astonishes me the amount of people that don't return call ins.
