Super talented musician and superb teacher and person. I think half the reason my son has persevered with his lessons is because of the almost big brother relationship he has with Michael.
I would highly recommend taking lessons with Michael. He builds rapport easily, helps students develop skills at their own pace, shows great patience, and can play and teach a wide variety of musical genres.
Michael teaches my kids guitar and drums and has run rock n roll band camps for them during spring break and summer vacation that includes studio time and video production! My kids have liked him as children and now they like him just as much as teenagers. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a music teacher. I would also hire him if I needed to get any recording done as a musician.
I can’t say enough good things about Michael. Not only did he produce my EP, but he helped me to turn tunes I’d written with my meagre instrumental ability into full fledged, fully realized songs that I can be proud of. He is a multi instrumentalist, has a great ear for music, and on top of all that, he is a stellar, encouraging human being with a fantastic sense of humour, which for me is a must for collaboration. Do yourself a favour and work with this guy!
