If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food, I definitely recommend the oxtail platter from Simple Natural Jamaican Food! The oxtail was fall off the bone tender, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans were cooked just right and paired so well with the rich gravy. The potato salad was creamy, fresh, and a great complement to the meal. Everything tasted homemade, the portions were generous, and every bite was satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Not their fault but be sure to check their website to see if they are parked at this location Edit: fyi it seems like their website is no longer maintained. their cashapp seems to be the only way to tell where they are. taking a star away for how complicated it is to see if they are open in the Williamsburg location or not.

The chef deserves a medal for grinding and cooking in this heat wave in such small quarters. The heat didn't affect his attitude at all though! He was so pleasant. I ordered the small ox tail plate that came with rice and beans and 2 big pieces of sweet plantain. I requested the Jamaican slaw which was a mixture of macaroni and cabbage and seasoning that I loved. The mac n cheese was exactly what a mac n cheese should be. Dense and delicious!
