As a client, I found the communication sent by Simply Helping head office regarding Ann, their former franchisee, to be highly unprofessional and deeply concerning. I understand that franchise relationships can end and that businesses may need to communicate changes, however the wording of the email and letter I received felt inappropriate and one-sided. I would strongly encourage anyone considering joining this franchise to do their research and speak with both current and former franchisees before making any decisions. The level of support and professionalism has been extremely disappointing. Concerns and simple questions are often not handled appropriately, and when issues are raised, the response can feel reactive rather than supportive. My highly unprofessional 'cleaner?' arrived with no equipment and no idea what she was there for. It took her half an hour to get garbage bags from across the road. She continued giving my housemate, the owner, dirty looks which he was not happy about. He was an abusiv, angry man so I cancelled the next two appointments in concern for her safety.
