Very unprofessional and concerning experience at Simple Simon Pizza in Onalaska, Texas. I visited around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday (3/25/26) and saw the manager openly coughing without covering her mouth or using her elbow while handling food. That is completely unacceptable in a food establishment. I had already paid, but immediately requested a refund due to the lack of basic hygiene. While I did receive my money back, the manager made a remark as I was leaving, which added to the unprofessional behavior.
I love coming here. The Pizza is good and the staff is nice.
Simple Simon's night time employees that work Saturday nights is very unprofessional when it comes to talking to people they don't even wait 10 minutes after placing an online order to call you more then one time to tell you to get there now to get your food I told them twice I'm on my way 3rd time I told them to put my pizza outside so they can leave and this is only 10 minutes after they closed witch I thought they closed at 11 on the weekends but I guess that changed recently to 10 but calling someone twice before 10 is c... read more
Great little pizza spot in Onalaska, right next to the lake. Went for the dinner buffet m, they only run dinner buffet a couple of nights a week from what I could tell but it was well worth it at around $12-15 a person. Pizza was fresh and really good. Its a small place with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and staff to match. We took a shot.in the dark to check this place out and we will be going back without hesitation.
