Was booking with Tara and her counterpart for makeup (they share a contract according to Tara) I paid the deposit and the next day the makeup artist was no longer available. She recommended another artist who was more expensive and out of budget. Tara refused to refund the deposit. (But if I lied to her or ignored her message and waited 3 more days, she would have refunded me..?) Be careful who you give your money to.

You won't be disappointed! I found Tara through Miriam (Jersey Girl Makeup) since they mostly work together with their two businesses. I'm so glad I did because her work is GORGEOUS! I found a lot of inspiration on her Instagram and she was able to work with me to create the perfect look. After the trial hair did not stay very long, we discussed changes and Tara was very friendly and helpful. My wedding hair stayed on point all day, apart from a few stray pieces. I highly recommend Tara from Simple Elegance. She made my “wedding day look”come to life and I felt like I stepped right out of a magazine!!! She made me and all of my bridal party members feel special and look absolutely stunning!!! My hair stayed in ALL day and night (even with all of the dancing!). Tara was such a pleasure to work with and made one of the more stressful wedding planning parts stress-free!
