Such a Cute Little Gem! My daughter and I were visiting Lake Geneva and were looking for a good breakfast place. Google showed us a restaurant called Grandma Vicki’s, so we walked about 13 minutes from our hotel to get there. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found out that it was closed even though Google showed that it was open. First time at this place and WOW. I love a good health-conscious restaurant, but dang does this place nail it. I ordered the quinoa corn fritter breakfast and audibly said "Wow" when I took my first bite. High quality ingredients, high quality chef, visually delicious. The menu has a ton of gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc options (my preference), but a lot of dishes with all the "good stuff" too. Will absolutely be back.
I ordered the peach French toast, it was a little short of what I expected. The actual French toast was a bit on the dry side. But the compote was good, and it did have fresh peaches. Our server was very attentive, but I ordered a cup of coffee and she never brought it. I don't blame her, she was handling all the tables in the patio. Went here for breakfast during the summer. They were busy but everything went smoothly. Came here k. The recommendation of the lady at the visitors center by the lake. I had the Korean breakfast bowl which was amazing. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The coffee was great. Be sure to visit the bakery next door and take treats for the road. I got another coffee.
