We bought Simonton windows because they were recommended by the window company. Our two requirements were to provide more glass and be energy efficient. They also had a lifetime guarantee and a satisfaction guarantee. We bought a level up so that we could increase the efficiency. What we got were 19 windows that were much less glass and don't work. horrible windows. failed w/in the first few years. trying to see if they will honor lifetime warranty. from the looks of the reviews, it doesn't seem likely. Simonton - prove me wrong
