I would not go here. I thought I would have a great experience but instead my hair dresser was rushing through my cut dropping her comb and scissors multiple times and pulling my hair. She didn't even speak with me. My hair cut was okay at most. Simonson's website does a good job at selling you but does not deliver once you go there.
Stay away!!! – I wish I could give them NO stars! My wife went into The spa looking for a relaxing day getting a mani/pedi. She had a fun time when she was their, however the work on her nails was quiet poor. Her nails were chipping and bubbling within an hour of leaving. She called the manager the next night and mentioned her issues and the manager apologized and asked her to come back in the next weekend to fix the problem. Simonsons Salon and Spa - Anoka MN – I first arrived to my appointment excited to receive a massage and mani/pedi. I was greeted quickly and then corralled to the back of the salon where I was sat down to wait for 20 minute without an offer of water, magazine or anything to drink. Great facials – My skin is always glowing when I leave. It's always a nice, restorative experience with friendly staff.
Best Color and Haircut EVER!!! – I've spent my entire adult life searching for a stylist that listens and gets my cut exactly how I had envisioned and I finally found it with Nicole at Simonson's. She is incredibly sweet and actually sat down with me on every visit and consulted before she started clipping. Great Massage and Hair – I go to Simonson's for all of my hair services. They really listen to what you want and make great recommendations on how to accomplish the look. I recently went there for a massage and Amber was terrific! They are reasonably priced and super friendly!
This spa chain brings elegance to the suburbs. – In Short Hair services are still the most popular appointments at this traditional salon and spa, but a full range of relaxing and beautification treatments are available. Soccer moms and suburban high schoolers enjoy cuts and styles as well as spa manicures and pedicures at prices that are a bit lower than in the Cities. Day spa packages include facials, hair styling and massages and start at $110.
Really Nice People – I went to Simonson's at a moment's notice for the first time and got the greatest compliments on my hair from the staff. They were all so nice and helpful and very professional. I went on one of those really humid days when no one in their right mind should get a hair cut, because you know that your hair is having a frizz out day -bad hair day. Anyway, the stylist asked me what I wanted and actually listened. I got a really good haircut. I will be back for sure. Try them, you'll go back too!
Bad Haircut – I recently had a haircut at Simonson's and was very disappointed. When I called to schedlue an appointment with the same stylistevery-time they are gone (must be high turnover there)! I was very to-the-point with how I wanted my haircut. Unfortunately the girl just didn't get it, and proceeded to give me this "generic" haircut. Now I've to wait 4 months for the hair to get back to where I wanted it in the first place! UUUHHHH! Be careful!
