His work is not good
I am very disappointed and saddened that I have to leave this review as I had great expectations from this local business. Everything was great until the car was picked up. When we went in for our 8AM appointment on Friday, January 16th, we let Simon (owner of the shop) know that our budget for this car was $1,000. We knew it had a lot of repairs needed but we clearly stated that was our max. Came in with a budget of 1000. They called me the next day with a quote of ~975. I told them "perfect!".I came in the day after and they had added over 300 in charges.
Simon's Auto has been my preferred repair shop for more than 15 years. They do excellent work, for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them to check out a vehicle before purchasing it, to handle regular maintenance, as well as more complex repairs like a transmission. The owner, Mike, is a great guy with a top notch team of mechanics.
