I showed up to work 20 minutes early for a 6am appointment. The door didn't open 6:15 because the rest of the check in staff was late. I had 2 scans. I was told later that because of my size I could only get 1 done and would have to come back for the other another time. I was then told to pick what scan I wanted to do first. That didn't sit well with me because I was to big?. No, they knew they were running behind and thought that if the could make me come back that it was more convenient for them, not me. My appointment was at 11 o’clock and they were running significantly behind. I was not called back until 1257, almost 2 hours after my appointment time. My procedure was an MRI of the brain with and without contrast. Everything went smoothly until they had to place the contrast. I honestly feel like the janitor placed the IV for the contrast! They attempted to place the IV three times in my arm and twice on my hand. They were unsuccessful on my hand and the contrast pulled into a big bubble on the top of my hand, and my arm ... read more
