I waited months to see this doctor for acute post steroid withdrawal and she was not helpful at all. The AI chatbots I have been using were more helpful. They called me and told me all the tests were normal and they hope my symptoms improve. Are they not supposed to help with symptom management? This was a couple months ago and I still have symptoms and now I'm looking for a new specialist. When I asked her staff how many people she has treated for steroid withdrawal they couldn't even tell me. Apparently not many.
I really felt that Dr. Ioja took the time to listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. She looks at the whole patient and their overall health, she doesn't just throw medication at the symptoms.
Dr Ioja is wonderful. She's incredibly knowledgeable and clearly explains my results and what I need to be aware of related to my health. I definitely feel like I'm in good hands with her.
