We’ve been taking our son to Simon Says speech for just over a year. We were suggested to look into the clinic by someone in the healthcare felid, we spoke to Kathy over the phone who matched us with Tara. Tara has changed our son in so many wonderful ways. He went from a frustrated kinder to a confident grade one who now participates in class discussions. My son has been receiving services from the team at Simon Say’s Speech for 4 years. It’s been so great. Kathy has been fantastic finding a good fit and the SLPs have all been dedicated and educated professionals in their field.
Unfortunately I have to say I was quite disappointed with the service I received here. I had three Speech/Language sessions with a therapist where she only engaged my son in play for a total of 5 minutes each session, the rest of the time being spent on exercises we could do at home (simply repeating information provided in previous sessions that I already knew and has implemented). The sessions ended early each time - ie before the 45 minute timeframe allotted. There are much better and more committed therapists out there. ... read more
