I took Dan's virtual training on the transformative approach to mediation-- which was an energizing and rich introduction to the topic. He is a personable, engaging, and adaptable instructor, and I walked away from the 20-hour course with a firm foundation on the framework and practice of transformative mediation. I've just recently attending Dan's 20-hour transformative mediation class over 2 weeks. As a long-time facilitative mediator and trainer, and as a clinical social worker, I expected to affirm what I thought I knew about the approach. Not so!
