My husband and I went to Dr. Wong, because my husband was experiencing many symptoms that pointed to Diabetes and he did not have an established primary care physician to go to. During the first part of the visit, the doctor spent a lot of time focused on changing my husband's blood pressure medication and letting us know that my husband should be coming to him to manage his blood pressure instead of the cardiologist who he very much likes and trusts. I love Dr. Wong—he’s an excellent doctor, and his assistants are great as well. However, the office policy for insurance policies at this office is unclear. Despite having the top-tier Aetna CVS Gold plan and confirming in advance that they accept Aetna CVS Health, I was later informed they don’t take the Gold level plan. I pay over $1,900 a month specifically for this coverage, expecting a $0 co-pay, yet I still have to be a self-pay patient.
