Waited over a week for an appointment with Mr Simmons that lasted 12 minutes. And in that 12 minutes my marriage was questioned as to its legitimacy (we are a gay couple) and none of my questions or concerns were answered, as I was instructed to not ask questions while Mr Simmons was writing notes. I was brought in and pushed right back out just as fast, and told I might get a call next week whenever he “can get to it”. HE WAS AN ARROGANT SOB AND NOT VERY HELPFUL AT ALL. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. HE TALKED TO ME WITH WITH AN AIR OF SUPERIORITY OVER ME WHO HAS BEEN A PARALEGAL FOR 25 YEARS. WHAT HE TOLD ME WASN'T THE TRUTH AND HE BREACHED THE CLIENT-ATTORNEY PRIVILEGE. I ALREADY KNEW WHAT THE LAW WAS BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE AND HE MISSED ONE VERY IMPORTANT PART. I WOULD NOT WASTE MY MONEY ON HIM AND WOULD LIKE TO REPORT HIM TO THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION.
