Review of David B. Simmons I recently visited Dr. David B. Simmons for help managing my colitis, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience from the start. During our visit, he questioned why I smelled like smoke—even after I explained it was from my girlfriend, who smokes cigarettes, not me—and implied that I wasn’t being honest about my own habits. I wouldn’t send my dog to Dr. Simmons’ practice. He is very uncaring and in my opinion (retired RN who worked in a medical office) a hack. I had a bunch of GI symptoms that I know are abnormal. I have the colonoscopy and he says it was normal, but I still have my symptoms. So he says why don’t we wait for the biopsy results to come in. So I wait. 3 weeks later I call the office because nobody has called me with the results. One of the staff tells me the colonoscopy was normal.
