Unfortunately, I can't give negative stars or I would. After sending 1 notice and 7 days to respond, Simmons Bank chose to automatically renew a CD for a mere 2% for 18 months without the courtesy of any attempts to contact the client whom is 90+ years. (Orignal rate was 4.9% for 12 months) Good news is we have choices where we do business and I can assure you Simmons Bank is NOT one of them. Truly worth the fee to leave.

If you get scammed don’t rely on this bank helping you. My uncle was scammed for $18k over a period of 4 months by a person whose name was Tanya. He didn’t know a Tanya. He had agreed to pay for a school tuition for a Teresa one month one time. He thought he had talked to the school on the phone which in fact it wasn’t the school at all it was a scam but every month they kept taking out $6000 $3000 and using the card for other things he was in the hospital for most of that time so it didn’t Think about looking. Welp. I thought Simmons would be a great regional bank for my business and personal accounts- I was WRONG. After banking with them for three years and making the same $20K deposit each quarter of those three years, when I made my deposit on 12/30, my check was HELD FOR ELEVEN DAYS. The funds will become available in the nick of time, for my payroll (thank goodness). What if I had been out of town during the holidays? I would miss payroll because of the acts of Simmons. Unacceptable and do not recommend.
