Matt Simmons is a car thief. DO NOT LET HIM HAVE YOURS. He'll keep it for months and dodge your calls. I'm reporting him to the sheriff.
I would give it Negative 10 stars if i could! Do NOT take your car here. He's had mine for FOUR MONTHS now & is never at the shop & will not return phonecalls!! He said in the beginning that he had to replace my transmission & needed some $ up front so i paid him. I would have towed my car out 2 months ago but I don't even see it on the lot! Sorry but extremely bad service!! BEWARE. He cashed my check of $2,000 in April. Its now August! I need my car back!!!
Went to get our solenoids replaced he bought the part and I never heard back from him, I tried calling multiple times and nothing, my friend drove me there (during business hours) and he wasn't there, left a note with my phone number, still haven't heard back, I had to get my car towed to another shop and I'm still out $200 because of the part that he still has.
I purchased 4 new shocks, thought they were installed. Had two tires put on at Schwab...they said the only new one was the front left! I looked and sure enough, he only installed one...the others are old. Now I can't get hold of him..
NEGATIVE 5,000!!! ....HORRIBLE SCAMMER! THIS GUY HAD MY CAR FOR 5 MONTHS to replace my transmission. I gave him a $2,000 deposit back in APRIL. He SAID he had to put FOUR transmissions in it but would rarely call me back & was never at his shop! I finally got it back last week ( SEPT). I took it to a reputable Transmission Shop. They said I got SCAMMED! It has the ORIGINAL transmission AND he put OVER 400 MILES on my car! (I just live up the road from him on the same street! So there should have NOT been any miles on my car!... read more
