Family members are, at the moment calling Simcoe Terrace home. Apparently the meals are horrid. Some just slopped on a plate in a mess, some are ice cold, still raw. Some days there are no meals at all because the kitchen has run out of food and residence are not getting fed. My family member is on government assistance so Simcoe Terrace take almost their full benefit for being a resident of this establishment. Staff is very friendly and always smiling. Katherine is very kind and friendly and an amazing person. Amber at the front desk is very polite and is always friendly with the residents. Would definitely recommend this place.

Simcoe Terrace, is poorly maintained. When will RHRA step up and ensure the safety and well-being of our most vulnerable people in our communities. The place is dirty. It’s not a wonder why it’s closed down due to illness all of the time. It’s not disinfected or cleaned properly. The staff are undertrained, including the cooks.The recreational programs are poor and are cancelled frequently. Which means that people don’t get socialized, contributing to poor mental health. All these horrible reviews but nothing will be done, another complete government failure
