Silwood Apartment is 5 star all the way. Our Hosts, Yvonne and Glenn could not have been more welcoming. They were so genuinely happy that we arrived safely and found their property. Their very warm welcome was so nice and genuine. I can honestly say, in all my years of travelling I’ve never had such a warm welcome. The apartment is superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silwood Apartment with Yvonne and Glen being excellent hosts. We initially booked for 2 nights and then extended our stay for a further 4 nights. The accommodation was very clean, well presented and well stocked. Little things like freshly baked bread made our stay more homelike. When next in Devonport we will certainly be checking if Silwood Apartment is available. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

My Amiga Anne & I had a lovely one night stay at this lovely self contained apartment. It was clean, huge clean bathroom, & fully equipped with all kitchen stuff that I needed to do cooking. Our host Yvonne was really lovely & even baked us fresh bread & cookies. In return of her lovely hospitality, I gave her a bowl of delicious smoked salmon pasta & coconut prawns that I cooked last night. I’ll booked this place again on my next visit to Tasmania.
