Dr. Diaconu performed my DIEP flap reconstruction surgery, and I would recommend him a million times over. From my initial consultation to the post op appointments, he has been so kind, patient, and thorough—Incredible bedside manners and really is an expert in his field. I’m so grateful to have had him do my procedure.
Dr Diaconu is doing my reconstruction following mastectomy. He is an extremely kind and compassionate surgeon who is highly skilled in state of the art techniques. He takes time to listen carefully to patient preferences and patiently explains all options. I give him the highest possible recommendation.

Dr. Diaconu was amazing throughout my breast cancer surgery and reconstruction process. After diagnosis of left breast IDC at only 39 years old, I learned I would need a mastectomy and opted for a bilateral. Dr. Diaconu had a great partnership with my breast surgeon and they worked together on the mastectomy.
