I just had a customer bring me a self-amplified subwoofer that they had repaired by Silvertown and it is 100% the most unprofessional work I have seen. The wires were hand twisted together and taped with scotch tape. You do not have to be an expert in electronics to know this is not proper. Highly unprofessional.. I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone. I regret not reading the reviews beforehand. I brought my 65-inch Sony Bravia TV in for repair, and after paying for a diagnosis, I was told the issue was due to the black lights. I authorized the parts to be ordered, but during the repair, they damaged the screen. Later, they claimed the problem was not with the black lights, but with the screen itself. Brought my VHS/DVD player to be repaired. As the dvd door wouldn't open back in Aug. /23. Repaired. Received Sept. 15/23. Brought back in Oct 2/23 for the same thing. Apparently, my machine was sent to Niagara falls store. I still haven't heard any info. Today's date: Nov. 23/23, on the problem. No one returns my calls. I keep on leaving messages. I don't understand what the problem is with businesses like this. Very unhappy customer☹️
