Horrible communication... they keep making it seem like we are ready to move to closing and something else comes up to stop the process again and again. Still haven't closed. Been trying to get it done for months now.
I wish I could give this mortgage company no stars. Due to lack of not being able to close on time not once not twice but 3 times. They would wait and call us on the day of closing and say it's a no go. They pulled our credit twice not to mention they want to pull it again and we said no. But they will tell you the is "reality" and then there is "mortgage reality". They lose track of paper work we had to send in numerous times. The ladies post below isn't at all surprising. I am currently dealing with Silverton Mortgage trying to close. I have sent and resent documents. Provided countless documentation that they request. More than half of it being redundant! If things were fully reviewed the first time! Not sure if it's the underwriters or the broker. The whole process is a nightmare. Terrible experience with this company. Paper work hassles having to repeatedly be redone due to lack of organization. To the point things sent weren't even noticed until maybe 3rd or 4th time they looked. Justin told us everything was a go so head to closing. Driving 11 hours with 2 dogs, a cat and a child was very expensive. Then being stuck 2 weeks in a hotel after getting to town almost broke us.
