The ER was clean, extremely quiet, and the healthcare workers were courteous. However, when only 6 patients were in the ER, at least three of whom were resting quietly without nurses in the room, the response times were excessive for requests as simple as help with restroom or a snack.
Worst emergency department ever. They let me sit there for 2 hours with not a single hello. I will continue to tell everyone I know not to trust your small little level 4 hospital. Your nursing staff is rude and just let someone sit in a room for hours with no help.
Connected me with Dr. Brewer, a GREAT Orthopaedic Dr. by the way, after I broke my wrist on vacation in Rome, Italy.
Im sad to make this review but my visit this morning was not a great one. I went in with a really bad cough and pain on my throat . I was taken to a room where I was told my nurse would be right In which I waited 35mins with no sign of a nurse I had to press the button to remind someone I was there maybe like 10-15mins later the doctor came in and just listened to my lungs and heart and told me I had a viral infection. This hospital is extremely efficient, clean, and friendly. The staff obviously love their jobs, and their joy is infectious. I brought my wife here after a car wreck and they helped so much and so quickly. We were seen and discharged in an hour; and whenever we go to the Salem Hospital, it usually takes 4+ hours to be discharged.
