I'm from out of town and this place was exactly what i needed! Cute community space with free art supplies! I came with my own project and was able to work quietly and comfortably with great A/C and water and soda if i wanted. If i lived here I'd be there all the time. Just a chill place to be! Perfect 3rd place for anyone!
Corrupt leadership makes this place very disappointing. The whole infrastructure of leadership makes this place a burden on the true potential of what the art association could be doing for the Silver Falls School District. Is there a school board member with enough courage to call them out on their nepotism in hiring practices? Truly shameful. If BOLI could call to attention nonprofits for nepotism in hiring practices or for never being present with other qualified art teachers' needs, this organization might change.
