In short: no, just no. I cannot reasonably recommend this company for those looking to build a home, whether it be custom-semi custom-spec. They have been around for 12 years yet the entire process screamed, "we don't have a grasp on what were doing." It shouldn't be misunderstood, Silverthorne doesn't build houses, they manage the process. And at that, management did a terrible job. Best quality and will customize any way you like.. all the others dr Horton ryan tell you suck it. If you ask for anything .. even if you ask for a tub in your master bath... am I paying for this or are you... .. go Silverthorne.. Best around
Thought we had found our dream home. The day we were to sign our contract and put the deposit down the VP decided our lot was no longer available. Pulled the rug out from under us after they did the credit check and we paid for an attorney to look over the sale. Then tried to get us to help them by building on a less desirable lot and ones that fell through after not passing the credit check. No thanks! Shady business dealings!
