My family and I decided to get lunch here today, and the experience and food was terrible! (Please note that my family is only 3 people.) So, today we drove there for a lunch because it is my favourite kind of ramen. We wanted to dine in because it was cold outside. When we come in we see 2 tables available, so we sit at one thinking that someone willl come up to us to take order. I visited Silver Lake Ramen in Oxnard today and had a disappointing experience. The hostess on shift was unprofessional and seemed biased. There were four empty tables; two just needed to be cleared. With only two people on the waitlist, she refused to seat guests, said it was takeout only, yet made no effort to call or update anyone. I'm surprised that there are any bad reviews for this place. I eat here at least once a week and it is 10/10 every time. I typically order the classic ramen with pork. The broth is rich, flavorful and delicious. It's always fresh tasting and I crave it if I haven't had it in a while. It is walk up ordering and a casual atmosphere, They keep very busy so I have no expectations on how long it should take or how friendly the staff is. I just want their ramen!
