My dear mom spent the last years of her life at Silvergate. She lived in a one-bedroom apartment on the ground level (corner unit). She moved into the apartment after having spent time in a hospital and at a nursing care facility. Efforts had been made to move furniture and familiar things from her home to help her settle in. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for Belen and the entire team and staff for helping my parents transition into the community. A good move is a hard move, yet Belen and team have helped us with resources and have been 100% solutions oriented as we navigate this new move as a family. They got over 6 different bugs/insects species. They got BED BUGS, scabies off and on, flies, ants, midges/fleas, mosquitoes and roaches! Festation! Even in the wellness center, with a dirty carpet! Got over 20 bites, I got scars on my both my arms!! Maintances spray fumes and dont let all of the staff know! And they allow residents to hoarder! I couldn't even put in my 2 weeks notice because everytime I'm there at work I'm itching so much from bugs and fumes! And Silvergate the (Owner) could little more when it comes too ... read more
The absolute best place to retire! They have lots of activities and outings….you will find lots to do! If you find you’re only living in 1 or 2 rooms in your home…it’s time to check Silvergate out. It truly is for those still active and young at heart ❤️
Silvergate is a lovely community. The staff is patient, caring, and they make a genuine effort to get to know the residents individually. The dining room serves wonderful restaurant style meals. The residents are friendly and welcoming as well. Silvergate's activity calendar is full of a variety of social, cultural, and exercise based offerings to meet the needs and interests of the residents.
