Not the worst gym overall — it gets the job done. That said, there are a lot of small rules that make the place feel restrictive, and some equipment is worn or damaged and could use attention. The biggest drawback for me is the vibe: it comes across as very money-driven rather than a welcoming, family-style environment. With better maintenance and a more member-focused approach, it could be a much better experience.
Looking for a new gym but reading how the owner replies to the criticism/complaints is very unprofessional. Your not going to gain any new memberships if your treat customers that way Bro. If they don't pay the contract fees would there even be a Silverback Gym?
Been going to this gym for a year now. Has a great atmosphere and the staff is awesome. The people that go here are just there to workout and aren't judgemental. They will give you tips on form or workouts. Never feel judged in this gym. By far the best gym I have been to. Price is higher than some other gyms but you pay for the atmosphere and experience.
It’s crazy how they kicked me out just for letting my friend in, a worker came up to me and told me and my friend to leave because we were trying to workout when I scanned my self in yet some white lady can come in with her friend and not scan in at all! So I’m just gonna go back to planet fitness a paid 120 per month just to not be able to bring a friend but some other person can bring theirs pretty sexist if you ask me I’m never going back their nor do I wanna be there again.
I travel to a lot of gyms across Texas while traveling for work, and this has always been one of my favorites. It’s never boring, the equipment is in great condition, and the employees are good peeps. I highly recommend checking it out whether you’re passing through or live nearby.
