This is a special place. I have two relatives living here and simply cannot say enough good things about it. The staff is wonderful caring people. The facility is spotless and organized. The animals they provide give peace to the residents. I would highly recommend this establishment as a new home for someone you love.
In October of 2015, after visiting 7 other memory care facilities in the Plano area, we visited Silverado Plano and knew we had found my mother-in-law’s home. We knew almost immediately that the administrators we met with were genuinely interested in and concerned with my mother in law as a person....the individual she had been prior to her dementia and the individual she had become as the disease progressed. We had our family member in this facility for approximately three years. We had to move him from another facility that just could not handle the situation even with extra caregivers we paid for out of pocket day and night. Long story short, we felt when we put him in here we could finally have peace of mind, but it came at a high cost emotionally and monetarily as described below. The best in the North Texas area. They set the standard for Memory Care in North Texas. The only shame is how bad the other places are. We have lived through it and are thankful to have found Silverado. Great employees that really care.
Do not put anyone that you love in this facility. It is a literal zoo with cats, dogs, parrots birds. They cannot keep track of your love ones and it is disgusting with the pets. Please listen to me. Run, don't Walk, run away from this
