Amrit is an odd duck. Because his shop has been closed for sometime now he'll come to you, pickup your repairs and then drop them off. That's a positive. I believe he now works from his home somewhere out in Suffolk County. He knows vacuums and he can fix them. He doesn't give a receipt for his work unless requested. Says he will but often doesn't follow-up. Wants to be paid in cash. Personable enough guy but then all of a sudden he stops returning phone calls. Very odd. IN TRUTH ZERO STARS! This shop owner advertises as if he's still in Great Neck but actually no longer is. His store has been closed for months. Not surprised since he proved himself to not be reliable or truthful. He made promises to us for 7 weeks about getting us a hard-to-find accessory for our vacuum cleaner, a very expensive vacuum we bought from him, but never followed through.
