Wish I could give a negative rating…. I would use anywhere else but here. Upon purchasing a transmission from them and installing per the instructions my car had a terrible vibration. They tried to claim I installed it incorrectly and made me take to to a transmission shop where I had to pay an additional 1,300$ for the shop to tell me what I already know which was that something was wrong with the transmission. The whole experience working with Silver Sport Transmission has been terrific. I purchased a complete 6-speed swap for my 72 Camaro. Every time I called with a question or needed any kind of assistance; they were right on top of it. Shipping was fast and complete with nothing missing. Excellent service from start to finish!
I ordered a TKX kit for my 68 Camaro. $4800 later I find out that the shifter isn’t included. It’s a kit and it was $4800. You mean to tell me I have to specifically order that? And of course I find out the day I drop the car at the transmission shop. I could order one for $89 but they will have the transmission installed by the time it gets here. Hoping that there wasn’t anything else that wasn’t included in the “kit”. I’m sure the transmission will be great but this is really annoying.
