I ended up finding my wedding dress in a different shop however I had my first wedding dress appointment with Silver sixpence. The lady I had was really lovely, so helpful and made my first appointment such a wonderful experience. I brought my sister and mum along with me and after leaving we all said how lovely the area for us in the shop was and how great the service had been so thank you so much for that experience. Also very easy parking close to the shop.
Got my dress here with Kate and she was great help, very lovely and easy going! I’ve chatted to Anika too who gave me plenty of advice and was super friendly. Been to the shop three times unfortunately Maria was not very welcoming, even unpleasant and acted as if she did not want to talk to me at all which was a downer to all the visits but the other girls were lovely and gave great advice!

Silver sixpence was my third shop and after I was starting to think I’d never find a dress that gives your “that feeling” I found Maria! She’s an absolute gem and really listened to what I was saying and understood what I wanted, when I didn’t even know myself. The vibe of the whole shop is a chilled and no pressure approach which I absolutely loved! Maria and her sister are both so friendly and make you feel welcome and at ease.
