I had high expectations going into this rental, especially since I had a great experience with Joy Carts last year. We raved about the service to our friends! Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite and honestly, very frustrating from start to finish. To begin with, my golf cart was scheduled for drop-off Friday at 11:00AM. The golf carts had a little rust but were reliable. The price was reasonable and the service was great. We were fine with the rust because it wasn’t like we were looking for perfection but wanted to have fun and ride around the beach.
We rented 2 carts. They where really nice. A little expensive but worth it to get around town.
This place is “Cray Cray”! My husband and I rented an 8 seater. We picked it up Monday morning around 11. When we picked it up, I was honestly kinda disappointed because it was pretty beat up. The front console was hanging down, one of the seatbelts were so rusted out, our kids couldn’t use it, no Bluetooth or speakers, and the cart was super hard to turn. This place deserves ZERO STARS. We rented a golf car for the weekend and these carts are old, rusted and falling apart. The parking brake would not reliably engage, forcing us to use a rock as a chock and the front passenger side seat handle was also very loose. Both of these issues are big-time safety concerns. To top it all off, the crap-cart left us stranded (with half a tank of fuel) at 2am, forcing us to walk home.
