I cant even give place a star. It was straight dumpster fire. No one in that place cared all they did was fill out there little question check box give you drugs and send you on your way

If I could rate this place a 0, I would. I was given lithium because at the time, we didn't know of an allergy. I had an allergic reaction and they gave me a shot of benadryl, that's all fine, no one fault. Then they decide to give me lithium RIGHT AFTER I calm down a bit, which is confusing, why give me the medication I just had a reaction to? Luckily, the benadryl was still in my system and kept the reaction at bay, no symptoms. The next day, they give me lithium AGAIN in the morning, they didn't cease the medication, noth... read more

Genuinely the worst mental health hospital there is in illinois. My boyfriend is in there right now and suddenly started to have allergic reaction to the medication. The staff is very rude and aren't helpful whatsoever. I'm trying to stay in contact with him but get pushed aside from the staff or they straight up just hang up on me. I'm so concerned for him because he's never had an allergic reaction to medicine before coming to this hell hole. He suffers from anxiety yet given no meaningful medication to help. The treatment we received at this facility was abhorrent. A family going thru a crisis at the worst time of their life received zero patient updates, no one answered the phone, no doctor called to ask questions and no request of patient's previous history. IF you're able to speak with someone, the rudest behavior for your concern. The Illinois Board of Health will also be notified of the shady goings on here with no visiting time except for 1 hour per week, no prognosis, treatment or any help/hope for the future.
