After a lot of research and consideration, we found Silver Lining Solar for our trailer's solar conversion. Rick L. is a true subject matter expert in RV solar customization - his knowledge, practical advice & installation skills provided the perfect solution to our battery / energy challenges! Now we can escape the grid and enjoy wilderness camping, while still enjoying the amenities that help keep us happy - plus reduce our need for propane and especially generators!! We are from Colorado and were traveling in Summerland, BC, Canada and discovered that our solar panel had blow off somewhere along our journey. We called Rick and although he was not a fan of flex solar panels, he had an operable used one…. For free! (This is my husband’s language.) After dealing with solar power troubles for years on my converted school bus, I didn’t have a lot of confidence that I would ever find a solution to the problem. I found Rick online, after driving to his place in Summerland, he spent a number of hours diagnosing and fixing the problems I had. Rick is knowledgeable and extremely helpful, he fixed all the issues created by another installation company that left us with an rv expensive solar system that did not work. Rick squeezed us in within the week and found and fixed numerous deficiencies and got us up and running and is always willing to answer questions. I wish I could have had Rick do the original install. If you need a new install or one fixed, I highly recommend silver lining solar.
