I have not had a relative in Silver Lights Adult Day Program for Dementia, but I helped facilitate the acquisition of both the current location and the previous one. In doing so, I met and dealt with Tammy, the CEO of Silver Lights, and Susan, the Managing Director. My take-away from this experience is that these two individuals are extremely passionate about providing care for adults with Dementia, and assistance to the families/spouses/partners. Silver Lights has laid off all of the staff that made it what it was. The owner and manager have lost the ability to attract and retain competent staff. The day service has lost all staff that cares about the clients. Do not send your loved ones to this service as it has lost its way due to mismanagement.
