So we stayed in room 23. The pictures do not match the actual condo . The couch is so bad you felt you were sitting on the hard frame . The cushion is only about 3 inches thick . The sliding door in master did not work . The dishwasher would not turn on. The remote for master would not change the channel . My fault I did not read fine print but cannot check in until 4pm and gave to check out by 9am. That’s 2 missed days you pay for . We've been coming here for over 45 years and love the rooms and the layout. If you have children, you definitely want them to be able to play outdoors with other children. There's a huge section of grassy area where your kids can play while you sit on your patio and relax. Our children have now grown up and have children of their own and come here now, too. The beach is the primary reason to be in Destin, but you can't be on the beach all day. The grassy area is the second best. It's just perfect.

Silver Dunes is such a fun family oriented place to stay. They had an egg hunt with what seemed to be thousands of eggs for the kids and even had the Easter bunny hopping around. So fun! The management and security teams are super on top of it. The security person walking the grounds was so kind to my little girl who had a self inflicted clumsy injury and made sure we knew where the ice machines were and made sure we were and what she would do for that sort of injury.
