only Chinese place I go to in Davis! – I have not even tried other Chinese places because I am satisfied with the service, food, and portions at this place. Their orange chicken is amazing and the servers are very prompt and polite! The portions are really good for your money, especially the lunch specials.
Silver Dragon Chinese – This place is awesome! For those in search of a big hot meal at low cost, this is the place. 6 bucks for a steamed rice plate at dinner, comes with fantastic soup which I have ordered as a meal by itself, an eggroll, a large pile of rice, and a main dish of your choice. Hot tea is complimentary. Dine in or take out, the service is good and very fast. An excellent deal for about $7 a person which includes tip. (1/3/09)
Silver Dragon, Delicious I have been going to Silver Dragon ever since my freshman year at UCD. It is by far, the bast Chinese food I have ever had. If you go, you should order their Hot & Sour Soup and Crab cheese wantons as appetizers. I personally love their General Chicken and Sizzling Beef. My girlfriend can't get enough of their Chow mein. Silver Dragon is the best! Every week I get a Silver Dragon craving. Caution if you go, you will get addicted.
pretty good This place has decent Chinese, I would eat there again, but I'm not sure what this guy means by the "Davis inflation". . .the prices seemed reasonable enough to me. . .I went with a large party and they were very accomodating, and the table is set up so everyone can share everything very easily.
not to good I had order some food and I was not very happy with the way the food tasted. They are kinda of expensive as well. I would not go there again. I was not happy with them.
The best Chinese in Davis! The Silver Dragon is located in the heart of downtown Davis. They easily have THE best Chinese food in town. The environment is great with plenty of windows to brighten up the whole place. The food is delicious and at a reasonable price (especially with the "Davis inflation"). A definite place to check out.
