My problem with this medical group isn’t with the doctors, but the billing department. I pay my copay every doctor’s visit. This year I’m hit with notifications either by text, email, or mail claiming I owe them money for my copay. The beginning of June I get notifications I owe for my “January” office visit. Love my doctor but silver cross has absolutely ruined the level of care of receive. The amount of time it takes to get in touch with my doctors office is ridiculous. I missed a call by 20 seconds, call back and get put on hold for five minutes. Doctor can't call back for another hour. How is this feasible for ANYONE? Ever since Silver Cross Group came on the scene. medical communicstion with my doctor is ridiculous. I used to make an appt within a week! I recently made an appt…first opening is in 4 months!!!!!! No thank you!
My rating is more so for Silver Cross taking over. My doctor had his office in NL for years and in the last year or so everything started running through Silver Cross. Before this you called the office the phone was answered by his staff, if they were busy the answering machine came on and you left a message, it was returned asap, they knew who you were and whether it be a question, to get an appointment, especially when sick they got you in and if iyou needed to get a refill it was sent in by the time you hung up the phone ... read more
