Care and Medical group is fine, billing is near fraudulent regarding overcharging patients with wellness visits copayments. Annual wellness visits are part of my Healthcare. But billing's misappropriation of copayments is apparent when taking legitimate office visit and applying these to past wellness visit billing.
The Doctor I see is great in person. However when having tests done, the wait is too long to get results. I get the alert that my results are ready and can view them but haven't received a call from the doctor. I've call three times now wanting to speak to the doctor about the results and possible medications and have not received a call back. The results were in two weeks ago. Why can't I get a call about my results? There needs to be a direct line to the office and not a messaging system from a call center.
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent emergency psychiatric evaluation involving my daughter, during which I encountered highly unprofessional behavior from the social worker involved. Despite the challenging circumstances I was facing as a single parent, I was met with a lack of understanding and empathy from the social worker. It is absolutely ABSURD to wait on hold for over an hour just to get in touch with our primary care physician. This new call center system is the worst thing that happened to Silver Cross Medical Group. PLEASE go back to allowing each location to answer their own calls before you lose patients. We are going to start walking into our doctor's office in person since this phone system is not working out. There have been many complaints about this over time since you switched over in my community and professional world.
The wait times for the call center are unacceptable. I was on hold 17 minutes and then the call was disconnected. Took another call with 10 minute hold time to talk to someone. There are KPI for call centers and the management of this group needs to improve. If you have too many offices being covered, hire more people! The doctor is great but this experience makes me want to change.
