No issues ever
I am new to the Silver Cross network and I came in today because I am having stomach bug symptoms. As I was checking in I was immediately told I maybe sent to the hospital. I did not understand why because this wasn’t an emergency situation. I proceed to the back they barely took vitals, nurse practitioner came in said she couldn’t evaluate me. I went for my blood work & urine for first time and was so pleased with facility and employees. Apparently they just started taking appts for labs and imaging I no longer have to drive to hospital lab
My wife went there today to get a mass checked out. The doctor freaked her out saying she needed to go to the emergency room. The emergency room doctor felt it and immediately thought it was a callous from a previous rib fracture. Took an x-ray and confirmed. The urgent care doc didn’t ask any questions and just sent her off. They could’ve done the X-ray at urgent care and avoided the time and money associated with an emergency room visit. This is the best urgent care that I have ever been to. About a year ago, when my daughter was 1, she had a sudden, severe allergic reaction. I rushed her here because it was close by and it was all hands on deck. The staff immediately assisted to ensure she was breathing and stable. I am so grateful. We recently needed to take my son here and the Nurse Practitioner Nikki was very kind, patient, and thorough. The x-ray technician was also very patient.
