Do yourself a favor and completely avoid this place! My brother was here for almost a year and weirdly enough, his health deteriorated more while he was there. He recently left this 'facility' and amazingly is doing better. As stated above by Ms. Wanda, I would get pictures or calls daily about the food being served by the 'chef' that their website states they have 🤣. The director (Aurora) at this facility does not care about the patients. She will lie and deny all wrong doing. If your loved one complains she will have them put out of the facility. If your loved one disagrees with her she will mistreat them and allow her employees to do the same. The owner is aware of this behavior and will not return your phone calls. She let's the director run the facility whatever way she wants. She will tell you everything you want to hear, about how well they care for the residents. But they don't do... read more

I went over and checked this place out for my dad, this was a little over a year ago- its small, dirty and there was a kid running the place who couldn't answer questions appropriately. The residents get a small room, a little bigger than a closet- no private bathroom or shower. only one bathroom and shower for all of the residents. I am told there is one nurse that comes during the day and at night it was not a nurse aide or any medical person on site. I asked , what do you do if someone has a heart attack? I will say that I interviewed many facilities before choosing Silver Creek Azle for my grandmother. I knew when I walked in that it was going to be a good one because It smelled great and everyone was out in the living room and on the patio socializing. I talked to several of the residents and they were happy! Working with Durinda was a breath of fresh air.
