Called several months ago to schedule an appointment to have a gas insert looked at. Not a primary source of heat so no sense of urgency. The pilot would light and stay lit, but the unit wouldn't come on when the thermostat called for heat. Left a message but didn't get a return call. Called back and was able to schedule an appointment. A nice, friendly young man showed up as scheduled but couldn't diagnose the problem. I called in December 2024 to have my propane insert serviced as it wasn't working. We wanted it to be done professionally. Two young guys came out and were polite. The one working on the stove said it was a trial by fire . As he wasn't sure what was wrong. He ended up replacing a few parts with used parts from the truck . This heat source is important to use we would have footed the bill for new parts. The part we thought we needed was suppose to be on the truck before the service visit. It wasn't. I contacted them in November about some maintenance on my stove. They were fairly prompt in scheduling someone to come check it out and sending an invoice. I paid a significant deposit and was told they would be back in three weeks to do the work. After 4 weeks I heard nothing and when I called they wanted to come take a second look, then changed the plan on what they were going to fix.
