Great experience getting to forge my own blade. Super friendly dude! Will be back sometime soon to make a bigger knife. Looking forward to seeing his new shop next time.
My son and I went here for his 15th birthday not really knowing much. Joe was very informative and helpful. We weren't sure what to expect, but we both were pleasantly surprised with the outcome of our session. Would recommend and plan on going back for future experiences.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We did a horseshoe knife for my son and a railroad spike knife for me. My son has an interest in blacksmithing and this was a great introduction. The owner is an engaging teacher but he is also serious, which is what you want when doing something potentially dangerous. The only thing I would do differently is have an extra person there to video or take pictures. I didn’t get as many as I wanted because we were both working on our knives.
Did a walk in to your shop one day not knowing I had to have reservations and finding that you were fully booked for the weekend, was allowed to watch others have a great time and then was asked when we were leaving Branson to go home. YOU ALL offered to me an appointment the next day, which extended your day. I took advantage of it and had a great time! I need another knife like a hole in the head but guarantee I'll be back!
