What an amazing experience for the whole family. Two boys age 14 and 11, and myself. Made two medium railroad spikes and one large spike. Jo was amazing, great with the boys, a talented bladesmith, and had patience that I wish I had. Amazing just amazing. Worth the money. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks Jo!
Great experience! Two boys (9 & 11) and the hubs loved it. There are lots of opportunities to watch a blacksmith work, but getting to make a metal craft is rare. This one-hour experience is easy to fit into a busy schedule and will probably be one of the favorites. And, you have a long-lasting souvenir to remember it!
Amazingly fun experience. The knives may be the reason people book appointments but Jo is the reason you’ll want to stay all day and then come back in tomorrow. It was fun, entertaining, educational, and useful. Jo doesn’t just want to sell knives; he includes thoughtful touches such as having my wife and me make knives that were forged from two halves of the same horseshoe. I wish I could give this more than five stars!
