We had a very easy time launching from Still Landing Canoe and Kayak launch. Just beware there is a lot of other boat traffic, but overally.a pleasant paddle. :)

Ramp closed on 9/21 Edit to reply to owner’s response: This was my first time visiting and reviewing this location. I tried to access the ramp and encountered a sign that says “ramp closed” next to a large chainlink fence blocking off water access. I apologize if I misunderstood. Is the ramp located near this sign and fence? I was disappointed so it would be wonderful if I was mistaken.

The kayak launch was closed due to low water. Equipment to extend the launch was acquired last week and put in. The Village cleaned up the area and we are ready to have folks come visit. Our apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the closing but the water was at flood stage when the launch was originally put in. One year later we have low water! Please come try us again.

I will re-rate this place if we have a successful visit another time. Today (8/3/2021) we went to try this kayak launch. it was very easy to find and there was nice signage for the launch at the beginning of the road to get you in the right spot. There are three to four parking spaces to use right in front of the launch site. Also there is a bench to sit and view the marina.
