The assistant that “helped” my future sister in law was rude and extremely emotionally manipulative, she clearly only cared about making a high commission… very unprofessional and uncomfortable for all of us who were there to support the bride. The dresses are pretty but very expensive and the assistant would only put her in things that were way out of her price range. I absolutely loved my experience at Silk!! After visiting a few other bridal shops I can say by far Silk was my favorite. The environment was magical and very comfortable. The woman who helped me, Savannah, did an awesome job of listening to what I was looking for and connecting with me personally. She was very attentive to my thoughts and budget and took time to look through my Pinterest and pictures of my venues. She was very welcoming and warm. I had the best experience at Silk Bridal, would absolutely recommend shopping for your wedding dress or bringing items in to get tailored at their in-house tailor Thimble. They also had very transparent and upfront costs for alterations! Fatima is the sweetest seamstress I’ve ever worked with and made me feel like a queen every time I tried on my dress. I never leave reviews especially negative ones for a small business, but the service for my bridal appointment was awful. I spent 3/4 of the time in the dressing room waiting for dresses to be pulled, not a kind word was said until I was in tears, and another employee was being reprimanded right outside my dressing room. I understood that not all shops may have the “right” dress but all brides should feel supported.
