Truly one of the best cultural deals around! Every year my husband and I buy a festival pass and spend the entire weekend immersed in films about Africa and the diaspora. They are always debuting young, first-time directors and bring many of the filmmakers in person. Besides the film festival, there are African vendors, a fashion show, African food, and other activities celebrating The Continent.

I have attended this amazing event in the past amd have never been disappointed in the experience! So many incredible films of all different genres and bonus feedback from some of the actors/directors on their take of the creative thoughts behind their film. Encourage anyone to attend!
