Forever grateful for the care that Prof. Silburn gave to my husband Peter, ((who had Parkinson’s for 23 years) until dementia needed him to go into care. I lost my husband after 8 years of the dementia, but the years that Prof. Silburn gave to us, before that, through his care, I will always treasure.

I had a sad, very sad, time with Professor Peter Silburn. My DBS surgery (for Dystonia) took place on 27/09/2017. Previously very fit, ten days post surgery my walking ability was badly changed. I reported this back - endlessly. However, I steadily declined into disability. For over two years Professor Peter Silburn was unswervingly adamant that DBS was “definitely not responsible” for my ever increasing loss of mobility and disability. I found my consultation with Professor Silburn enjoyable and informative. Professor Silbutn was totally professional, and treated me like a real person, clearly and fully answering all my questions. I would be delighted to have him as my surgeon, should I need it one-day.
