My husband was put into this facility and it was rated a 4 star. We thought with a 4 star rating, he should be good. In the beginning, everything seemed ok, but that went downhill fast. The daytime shift did pretty good, but gradually tampered off when it came to giving him his meds on time, bathing him, turning him and checking on him. Nighttime shift was even worse. Silas Creek Rehabilitation is top notch in their patient care , and family care. My friend has been there for 1 year, and has made great friends with the staff, and other patients. It is clean also

The nursing staff and CNA’s were kind and attentive. Housekeeping was attentive and kind to my mother. Mom said the food was incredible! The PT, OT and physician were prompt, kind and knowledgeable .The only downside was social work saying one thing and doing another and also those working on discharge said five minutes all day which turned into hours and hours. When my mom first came to this facility they weren't perfect but now they are awful. And the administrator is the worst. They will lie to you straight in your face about your loved one refusing to be turned every two hours or bathe. She is not refusing they don't have enough clean linen. I had to go purchase my mom her own towels and washcloths because the workers would tell her they don't have anything clean. This place is a 0/5, hands down. The administrator, Kendra, is unbelievably rude to the residents—it’s honestly disgusting. When I came to visit a friend who’s staying there, I heard her shushing residents during activities, telling them they were “too loud.” That’s THEIR home, they should be able to laugh and enjoy themselves however they want. The whole building is in terrible shape. The AC units are leaking in multiple rooms, the walls are all mismatched colors, and it’s so hot inside it feels like there’s no air conditio... read more
